While we do receive some income from the few ads we run on the site, donations are a big part of what help us continue to write great articles and provide assistance in helping our readers escape miserable jobs and create a more fulfilling careers.

The owner, Mike Lazear, runs his own web design and development businesses as his full-time gig and The Great Office Escape is a part-time venture. Guest writers and bloggers also submit their work on a volunteer basis.
